On Wednesday’s…We Wear Pink! (MAC Lipstick Review)

Hi Everyone!

Today’s post will be all about my favorite 3 MAC lipsticks! 1 of these i’ve had for awhile and the other 2 are a recent purchase, but i love them all equally!

So, in my opinion MAC & Smashbox lipsticks are the best! At least on my lips, they give me the longest stay and color choices. I’m open to trying other brands though, so let me know below what other top choices you have so i can try them out!

I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE for my crappy pictures of my lips with these shades on. My lighting in my bathroom sucks and doesn’t show proper depiction of color…hence why i don’t post my makeup looks because they don’t translate well into pictures. Sorry, i tried my best here!

Here are the 3 i’m going to be talking about:

Patissiere || Speak Louder || Sweetie

1. My first purchase was Patissiere, because i was looking for a neutral color to wear on a day to day basis, to work and such, without it being too loud! I felt this color fit my need perfectly  and i do use it on days i don’t want to be over the top at work!

           Color: Neutral pink               Long Lasting: Somewhat
                    Best Use: Neutral looks    Rating: 3.5/5

2. The Next color i bought was a brighter and more PINK color, called speak louder. I like this one since it has more color and pigment to it, so you can easily dress it up!

                Color: Pink             Long Lasting: Somewhat
          Best Use: Neutral looks/or pop of color    Rating: 3.8/5

3. The last shade is sweetie, which again is a more medium/neutral look. I would put it in between the other two lipsticks i just spoke of, it falls right in the middle in terms of the shade/color of it.

       Color: Neutral pink               Long Lasting: Somewhat
                    Best Use: Neutral looks    Rating: 3.5/5

Overall, i like them all pretty equally. I use them differently–the neutral colors for daily use and the pinker one for a specific location. That pink shade look pretty bright on my lip and skin, so i don’t want to over do it.
