Hello lovelies!

Today’s post is a guest post by Sara! She and I have been following each other for quite sometime now, so i was super excited when she expressed interest in doing a guest post for my blog!
Let’s get into it!

Comfortable, casual, and chic are constant style goals for me. I’m all about comfort but I also want to look chic. We all know it’s officially Spring, and that means its floral season! I don’t know about you but I love a good floral print and all the bold colors that come out during Spring. It’s THE perfect time for flowers and color!

So I brought out my brightest and boldest outfit to share with you. I love this custom yellow salwar, and like clockwork I rock it every Spring. Not only is the bright yellow color bold and beautiful, but it always puts me in a good mood, and the flower pattern adds an extra pop of color and chicness to the entire ensemble. Pair it with your favorite black pumps, or even black tights, like I am here, and you’ve got the perfect Spring outfit.

I always get rave reviews and compliments when I bring this dress out everyone always wants to know where I bought this.
That brings me to my next point. Ladies, bring out your favorite salwars and rock them for Spring. We all know how rich and vibrant our South Asian culture is, and the clothes are equally colorful and vibrant! This is the perfect time to rock a salwar with tights, or however you want to rock it.IMG_0543

Get creative! Last year, Kendall Jenner made a splash by pairing pants with a dress, to fashion novices this was a huge trend. But the reality is, South Asian women have been sporting this “trend” since the dawn of time. Don’t shy away from your culture and your heritage, instead revamp your style and closet and use your culture as an asset. I love fusing my looks with my southeastern and Asian background.

So be bold this Spring and rock your culture, I promise you’ll be turning a few heads.
