Today’s post will be featuring some eyeshadow brushes I actually got months ago (back in April-May) time and am just getting around to posting about it!
Mostly delayed in getting this up because i wanted to make sure I had time to use these brushes and really get a feel for them before discussing what i think. With my cousins wedding that just passed, I used these brushes quite frequently then and I definitely love them!
When Mikasa reached out to me on this – I was excited because i’m a total makeup/beauty junkie. I had been using mostly Eco-Tools brushes as eyeshadow/eye brushes and definitely knew I wanted a change. I bought the 4 Piece Essential Eye Set. I figured this would be the best bang for my buck because it included all the needs to make an eye look.
These brushes are black (which is a yay), super lightweight and easy to hold and use, and travel with. All things I look for in a good eye brush.
- E230 Eye Shader Brush: Is super soft and flexible, that allows for easy blending and application of cream based products. The bristles are soft and help make a precise eye look.
- E300 Blending Brush: Is best used for controlled blending and smudging of eye shadows, this tapered medium sized brush has soft bristles and a rounded top.
In addition to these two, you also get the Pencil Brush + Angled liner brush which are great too but just less used for me.
Here’s what they look like:
